Can you guys give me an idea of what the corresponding cars would run with turbo kits added to them and which are the best ones and about how much they would cost?

1999 Civic EX

1999 Civic Si

1998 Integra GSR

The car would just be a daily driver Im not looking to beat everyone...but they are options to maybe selling my car putting some money down on a house and buying something cheaper to build to drive for a year to 2 years. I would like to run high 14s. like 14.2-14.1. Only other bolt-ons Id do would be full exhuast and spring/shocks.

I second HybridEGs theory...of course thats what I did...

I guess I should have said that Im not going to dump huge amounts of money into the car. I dont want to change out blocks and etc. I just want to have a fun car to drive that runs decently enough to stomp on the ricers that think i/h/e is fast. I would just do the turbo and corresponding fuel support mods and be done. No engine building or anything...just the kit.

Si....blue ribbon....nuff said. No really I would boost the si w/custom turbo but remember you will have to change the pistons to low comp no matter what or you will only be able to run a small amount of boost....i am biased though so I think stick with dohc it will last longer and take higher amounts of boost w/good pist/rod combo w/out having to worry too much about it.

In other words buy my car. Already has pistons all it needs is sleeves rods and a Haltech and you have yourself a 10 second car.

You guys dont read well. Im not spending thousands on the car to make it all that fast. Im not spending $21000 on a 99 civic...sorry thats WAY too much...and Id never get it back out...just like you probably wont. Especially when I could spend 1500 and have my GSX run the same as your si. And all for under 20000.

I want to buy a cheaper (about 10-12000) car and just having something fun to drive around for a year or so. The rest of my money will be put down on a house. I dont car about building blocks and turning up boost. All I want to do is put on a turbo kit make sure it has enough fuel put full exhaust and tune it. period. As long as I can get 14.2-14.5 out of it that is fine. Its just something to be enjoyable and fun to drive in the mean time.

So what do I do to get 14.2-14.5 out of a Civic EX? (more probable with the money I want to spend)

$21000 on a 99 1.8 liter turbocharged SI isnt a lot of money to ask for considering with the car I have over $26000 invested but everybody is entitled to there own opinion. Sorry to hit such a sweet spot and about your GSX...I would love to see how $1500 would make a GSX run low 12s. Oh well good luck with your search.
