having problems....bought a cheap 2-ton jack that raises between 5 - 14. the side reinforced jack points on my teg are not wide enough to fit the jack and a jack stand at the same time. using the tow hook in the back to jack it up doesnt get it nearly high enough to put jack stands on rear sides. using the front jack point i can get the front high enough to fit the stands on the front sides if i take off the adjustable braces on the jack stands. ???

Ive run into the same problem w/ my POS hydrolic jack. Anyways leave the jack stands be. Just put them underneath the subframe instead of the jack points.

What I did is just take 2 small 1 1/2 ft pieces of a 2x4 and cut a slot about 4in long by 1/2in deep and slide it on the jack spot it will fit in the slot and be snug as well as giving you a great deal of room for jack stands safely(and it wont bend the subframe)...i use mine all the time...

I have a Craftsman 2.5 ton jack and it scrapes the front bumper jack point as I position it under it. Close but dont need 2x4s yet!

Yeah I have a little 2 1/2 craftsman too but to fit a real jack(10 ton) it is always way too small...the craftsman is tihgt except for the small ass dish.....i like the 4 in....
