What about the ZEX plugs and splitfires nology and the denso iridiums? Just curious. Ive always wondered if sparkplugs actually backed up all the hype they put out about power this and power that.

Long live NGK! The spoon plugs and the denso iridiums are exactly the same if you decided to buy those rather expensive spoon plugs just my 0.2 non sense.

Info from the ngk site states that the oem plug in the gsr has a gap of .052 the type r plug has a gap of .044. the heat rating number is the same its 6. The LS takes a hotter number five heat rated plug. So It seems as though if you run the same heat range as the stock plug and the same gap as the stock plug(On a stock engine) then everything should be o.k. with switching from platinum to copper.
