is it easy to fix an AC compressor
my clutch in my ac compressor is shit and my mech wants to charge 750 for parts and labor
what should i do buy a used part and try to fix it myself or buy a new part and try to fix it myself?
and does anyone know if it is easy or not?

and what did they say was wrong with yours?if its just the clutch you can buy them new at autozone for 65bucks or the whole compressor for 300 then 20bucks for 2cans of r134

appearently i just need to replace the compressor cause its bad and the clutch is all fcked up as well

easy or not its a matter of know what your doing, if you do it wrong your gonna mess up your new compressor, replacing a compressor isn't a 15 min job, go with a new one if you can, with the used one you always take the risk to loose money and time and the quote they gave you its about right.
