Should a Skunk 2 intake manifold for a B18C1 have "skunk 2" on it anywhere or have any other number on it to confirm it is actually a skunk 2 intake?

Nope the older manifolds just look like a normal manifold..Except they dont point down like a stock Gsr mani does,

The newer Proseries ones say S2 on the top.

The old ones have a black ink stamp near the throttle body opening and have smooth runner transfers inside it if you open up the throttle body and glance in you can tell if it is a quality product or if it is obx or a knock off ebay.

yes...most likely...could you get a top picture up close, and inside the TB?

99% sure it is a skunk2 manifold...see the little black numbers about 2 inches in from where the throttle body bolts on in the second?...thats a serial number skunk2 used to mark their older manifolds...by LS one has it.

I don't see any black numbers? If this is an older one what is the price and performance difference between the two?

Well they WERE numbers...it is that black smudge looking mark right next to the throttle body.

I'm about 95% sure that is a grease smudge from when I did some work to the car.
