B18C1 cam seals

Anyone know if your supposed to put any type of sealant on the cam seals before you install them?

I don't think you have to...I think that is the reason for the rubber o-ring things.

OK, Just checking cause when I replaced them the old ones had some kind of sealant on them. I didn't think it needed it cause the new ones fit nicely and they had springs inside them.
