Short answer. Yes. With the proper setup, fuel and tuning 6lbs - 8lbs is more than safe

But he said without a tune...i mean i guess you can half ass it with a missing link but you may blow it up. Tuning is the only way when it comes to boost.

In that case. No I guess if you dont care about the motor you can do it. Missing link, fmu and retard the distributor If you do care than do it right or dont do it at all

eh...Yes but no..You can but it will run probably worse than it like ever has and you will probably blow it up if you get on it within those 1-2 months with no tune..

Seriously..Just wait til you can afford a tune and then hit ^that guy up

I highly suggest you get it tuned and make sure all of the parts are right for the turbo setup (i.e. fuel pump, injectors, etc.) Even running low boost can blow the motor. Your motor is not designed to have air forced in, it is designed to have air sucked in.

Knew a kid once who was trying to do what you are doing on a badass K20 and he ended up messing up his head and messing up some other things like timing chain. Didnt completely blow it but it was enough for him to learn the lesson.

I ran 8psi on my 93 Gsr untuned for 2 years just use 93 and take some timing off and I had a missing link and a front mount will help big time, but u will want to get a tune just to be happy.

Probably.

Boosting a car without a tune is pointless.

Wow...lets turbo the car with no tune...lets only get an extra 50hp with 8psi instead of 90hp...lets not get our money's worth out of the new setup...lets buy another motor after a few months because I was a cheap ass and didn't do things the right way the first time and blame it on the turbo company for selling you a bad missing link because your too stupid to realize it was your own ignorance that caused the problems...ok I'm done venting.
