car doing random smoking?
i have a boosted ek. it is on 5 psi and 450 injectors. its still stock map and obd2 but im going obd1 and 2.5 map tomorrow. it has a aftermarket intake mani and it has no iacv butdoesnt idle up and down. now heres the problem. driving it is fine but sometimes at idle it will smoke out the a$$ and then i start driving again and its fine. or if i give it a LITTLE gas its like it has a 2 step it goes up and down from 1.5k to 2k and if i hold it there for about 8 secs it will do the smoke thing bad. what can this be? it smells like oil. i have no water in the oil.

thats what i figured. im in middle of putting new turbo on thru out the night. my compresion was 170, 172, 125, 175. does that mean its about to go lol.

holly shit!! 125.. yes thats very bad... did u do the compression test at wide open throttle.. also, take one cape full of oil and put it into the low psi cylinder.. if the preasuer is greater after u do this then is your rings.. but i would go ahead and tell u that the motor need to be rebuilt.. thats a drastic differnece in compression

Yeah very big differance. Rebuild time...
Rangcrx can rebuild it but he don't pull motors.
I can pull the motor and he can build it and Ill put it back.
