Question Turbo Timer, etc.

Im runnin' a boosted DC4 and I was wonderin' if its necessary to have a turbo timer? I mean I aint got one but I usually let my car sit/prime when I cut it on for like 2mins and dependin' on how I drive that day or where I went I let it sit for 30secs to 1min before I shut it off.. kinda of like a manual way. Im just curious if its worth the money to invest in one.

Also, I was told that LS has very good bottom end and weak top end and was just wonderin' if its even worth buildin' a LS or just go LS/VTEC?

Yeah everyone keeps tellin' me that LS/VTEC is my best option but the thing that holdin' me back from goin' that route is reliability, heard that they dont last long but then again that could depend on the driver from beatin' on it.

I kinda of figured it wasn't necessary cause I can just do it manually but yeah I was one of those people that said that when I seen my buddy's car still on lol.

Good looks on the info ya'll.

fuck that get rid of ls and get a gsr block with type r internals and throw the b16 head on it ... the only reason i keep sayin b16 head is cause the portflow is better than the other b series ...

b16 and itr are the same head castings, IE they flow the same. ITR has better internals though.

which b18 head? B16 flows better than all b18 heads except the ITR.

It has been proven that the gsr and the b16 head flow pretty much the same, the only difference is the cc's in the 2 heads. http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=469492
