Belt question

is there a alternator belt tensioner? or is it the alternator braket itself?

No belt is damned simple. Getting the tension on the belt is the PITA. My suggestion is have a wrench on the bolt pull like a mad man snug and then check deflection.

I think I changed mine out one night before a track event in less than 10 minutes. Very easy.

yeah real fun only like 2 hours. Remove every other acc drive belt then the alt one.
