With some cars the ideal reading on a gauge is the middle,
for accuracy reasons........what is the max on your gauge?

Was the gauge stock in the car to begin with?-Bob

I'm pretty sure hondas factory oil pressure light won't come on until about 7psi. So I guess that's what they consider low. My y7 runs about the same pressure as yours

bellow 10psi is not right you have some issues with something in your pump or bottom end and you might want to take care of it. When my oil pressure drops to 15 psi its because my oil is breaking down and I change it. Iv never seen my oil at or bellow 10psi
