I had bought a d16y8. Block but the block had a y7 head on it
The block look perfect I replaced all seals and gaskets and with
A brand new head gasket threw the head on to spec but the
Car was running fine but last night I started to burn coolant
I think the head gasket went orits sucking it in threw the intake mani
But that's shit was burning it and over heating

Need help asap and is this combination possible

 

R u sure its sucking it threw the intake mani? The only coolnt line that goes to the intake mani is the 1 for the IACV. There are 2 lines that go 2 the IACV. 1 is vaccuum and the other is a coolant line u may have them backwards but if the car was running fine before then u did have them right. Now if u did blow the headgasket, coolant would get into the combustion chamber and thats y u smeel coolant burning

 

That's what I thought I blew the head gasket but it was brand new
And I torqued it to spec but I guess it was a cheap head gasket, but that swap is possible rite

before u installed the headgasket, did u make sure the head and block were straight? The head may need to b milled to ensure straightness

 

na I thought it would have been ok but I guess not, when I remove it I am going to check it and take it to get shaved or just maybe
