Brake problems on my DelSol
Hey guys heres the deal. I have gone through about everything I can think of and I am still having the same issue. I can bleed the brakes and get my pressure but as soon as I start the car the brakes seem to go away. I have replaced some bad calipers, the master cylinder, and the brake booster and still have the same issue, do you have any ideas.
Slave cylinder? Not on brakes guys. There is no need for a slave cylinder when there is no need for a hydraulic connection or when a mechanical connection is possible, eg brake pedal to the master cylinder, you know, the brake thing with the brake fluid resevoir on top of it? I hope this clears that up. But yeah, check for a leaking rear brake cylinder, as a few drops of brake fluid missing could cause spongy brakes as liquids are not compressible, though most fluids are (100% of gases).
Short story long, check for leaks under the rear drums and along the brake lines.

Well I thought it was a leak, I have 4 wheel disc brakes, I found a defective rear caliper so I replaced it. The thing is Im not loosing pressure without the car on, my brakes are hard as crap, as soon as I start the car the pedal goes down and I can be doing 30 mph and slam on the brakes and the car won't come to a hault it just glides, its really wierd as far a slave cylinder that is just a clutch thing. Anyone else have any ideas, Im going to check to see if the pads are glazed or anything and Im going to Micrometer the rotors to make sure there in clearance not sure what else it could be.
