b17a EF swap a/c bracket needed?

I just wanted to know from those of you that might have done a b17a into an EF or knows anyone that has. Will I need to get the hasport a/c bracket to get the a/c to work or will it be fine without it? Im swapping it next week and am trying to get everything situated.
