Default Tranny Problem?

I just replaced my 95 civic lx tranny it is a auto. I changed it because it was slipping like a manual then would just not work at all. Then I would have to turn the car off then on again to drive a couple of blocks then it would do the same. Well I put the new one in and its doing the same thing. Anyone have any idea what it could be? Please help THanks..
