If you just want to replace the crank and everything else is OK, then it shouldnt be a problem. Just drop the tranny, take off the tensioner, lower the timing side mount, take off oil pan, desconnect rods and push them to top of head, take off the oil pump, and rear seal mount, drop crank and throw it in neighbors yard, install new main bearings std., put oil pump back on, rear main mount back on, install rods w/ new std. bearings, install new thrust bearings, put std. main bearings on main caps, tighten the caps / oil pick up... the ovious stuff to get it on the road.

did it only brake where the pulley goes or did it brake all the way to the timing gear?if only where the pulley goes what you can do it use a dremel and cut out another section oppisite side to fit a new key,as long as the motor is timed correct then it will not be a issue.then you dont need to take the motor apart

Yeah that will work but, if you ever pull the head make sure the person setting the timing knows. I ran a crank pulley missing the key and I set the timing checked it and I was off by a tooth so I did it again after about the 3rd time I was like wtf and found the key was missing and allowing the pulley to move just slightly.
