ok i did some research and now all i really need help with is the IACV, do i need to get a new sensor or should i try to take it off and clean it first i dont even know if that helps

also if someone has a 90-91 teg computer i could use for 5 seconds to plug in my harness to see if code 13 will go away that would be super. that way i dont have to waste my money on a new one for no reason.

Yeah just try another ecu for 13.

14 is usually a wiring issue

There are three temp sensors on a teg motor. One is the single wire nipple plug that just measures temp for your cluster, it is located on the cylinder head under the dizzy. There is a two wire sensor next to it which is the ECT sensor that the ecu used for its fuel correction, this is the sensor that throws code 6. The other is either located on the back of the block on a obd0 motor or on the thermostat housing for obd1 and up, this is the fan switch.
