set timing belt on b18a1

Default set timing belt on b18a1

ok so dont i set the cams where the arrows point up? and wat mark on the crank do you line with the thing on the timing belft cover?

Get a chiltons manual. I did my first belt from that book, all by myself, and my motor ran well for a year+ and to my knowledge, still does! Oh yeah, make sure you pick up some cheap drill bits to hold the cams still on that LS of yours, as they make the job A LOT easier.

if u mean the arrow that points to the crankpulley, it would b the single line after the three lil lines that are on the actual crank pulley. Its the TDC mark for the crank

Get a CHILTONS manual, bottom line. If you have $20, you can get yourself a chiltons. If you plan to do any maintence on your car, get a chiltons. If you have a LS in a civic, buy a chiltons for the year car the mottor came out of and one for the chassis. Moral of the story, buy a chiltons. Any questions?
