Well the reason I sak is this guy comes into my work all the time with this Prelude that has a big wing on the back 17 inch rims and an aftermarket hood. The motor is stock except intake fuel pressure regulator and exhaust. He told one of the other guys at my work he got it up to 142 mph it sounded like BS to me but I wasnt really sure I told him I thought it would be around 130 mph. I told him 142 mph would rip that wing off his car.

My prelude is non-vtec (h23a1) and I recently drove down to Miami to visit friends and had my speedometer maxed out at 140 .. I would assume that since the h22a1 motor produces more hp its top speed would be higher ..? If he is running jdm ecu I believe that is governed.. just my two cents...

Also remember that his wheel size is not stock so his speedo is off.

Also since his wheels are bigger than stock his top speed would increase but his bottom end acceleration will suffer.

I estimate that on an open road with the wind either idle or helping him he can achieve that speed. He probably would need some space but it would be possible.

Hes probably a retard too simply because I bet he has to much downforce from the wing at 142 to control the car if he needed to react and he prolly has H-rated tires too... smart kid I am sure.

my 94accord can go 135 with the f22 and stock wheels with just my intake and exhaust so 145 may not be too off depending on wheel/tire size.

ive looked in a few places and the fastest ive seen for a stock 95 Prelude Vtec is 136... that was in an issue of card and driver. they list the top speed of the 1999 as 134 on their website.

AccordFan... remember you dont have a wing on your car... or do you?

People dont fin realize that at 140mph a wing can really f u up... unless it was calibrated properly... which I KNOW any rice boy did not have done.

Hell flip one day trying to keep up with me...

though for me, you'd have to change it to 10 inches, and you'd have to change inches to millimeters, and you'd have to change 10 to 5 and you'd have to change dick to poor excuse for one.
