**So, I got Scammed.... Chime in**Long story!
Well, i got scammed. I guess i sorta fell into the trap by my own stupidity and being in a rush in all.
Story goes like this....
I blew my turbo, no ones fault but my own, and i understood that. Since the car is my Daily, i was kind of in a rush to get it back on the road as soon as possible, day and night countless hours i spent looking everywhere possible for a decently priced turbo. I wanted the same one i had or better and it was hard trying to find one decently priced, most were over 900 bucks. I looked at an old thread on here and saw almost the same one i previously had but a better version of it, got a hold of the guy through PM's and i received a call shortly there after. I never got a name or anything and the contact name on here was 00RICK; i made plans to meet him up the following day so i can finally get my car on the road. Note that i took a day off of work to drive all the way to Port Charlotte to where he lived, met him up at a gas station and when i saw the turbo it looked brand new, he said he had only used it for 1000miles and it was still warrantied by precision and all and if i had any PROBLEMS AT ALL he would give me the money back no questions asked, so it seemed like a good deal. I hand him over the 600 bucks, and was on my way home all excited to get it on.
That same night, me and a couple of friends install the thing, turn on the car and everything seems good until i star seeing white smoke EVERYWHERE, so i start thinking as does everyone else that maybe its old oil burning off through the pipes from the old turbo mess. SMOKE doesn't go away, even the following day, i drove the car around over 70MILES and it still smoked, it rode fine and all but smoking as if i had a smoke machine in the trunk. I called him back and told him the problem i was having and told him i was going to take it off and take it to south east power solutions in Brandon to have them look at it. The following day, i took the turbo off and noticed the exhaust side FULL of oil, and down pipe drenched in it. so i was like OK its just the seals, i let him know and he tells me no problem take it in and lets see how much it is to rebuild it, i told him i didn't even care about having the entire amount of cash back but instead to just PAY half of the rebuild cost and id cover the rest. Got a call from south east about 2 days after dropping it off and the guy mike there told me the turbo is FUCKED, he said the bearings were all messed up and seals messed up that there was no way it was used for 1k miles, that rebuilding it would cost more than a new one, since it needed the entire cartridge. Being all pissed off, i text the guy since i was at school and no response, i called him and left him a voice mail of what happened and no call. SEVERAL text messages and calls and yet no response. i then later found out the guy i had made a transaction with was no other than AMIMAXIMA on here which everyone hated, i didnt know that when i met him up. i left him about 10 voicemails of just saying to give me the money back like he said if it was bad he would do, and no response, i even told him i wouldnt hold a grudge for all the shit i went through all i wanted was my 600 back and he could do what ever he wanted with it, and NO RESPONSE. at this time iam really angry, no call yet from him i found him on AIM and sent him countless msgs and nothing, found him on myspace and sent him a message and he blocked me from sending him messages. AT THIS time, iam just letting you guys know 00RICK is not one to trust and if anyone at all has any information on this guy TOMMY AKA AMIMAXIMA from port charlotte, let me know, because id love to go over there and say hello to him

BTW: i know i bought a moving part on here thinking i could trust some one and it was my mistake from doing this but hey i guess YOU live and you LEARN and thats how life is. couple days ago i found a shop from H/T selling the turbo i wanted for only 695 shipped and i made that order and i should receive it by monday HOPEFULLY. all in all it cost me 1 day off work,2 weeks carless, a drive to port charlotte, more carless time, another 700 bucks and nothing but headaches and frustrations, and i made one new friend TOMMY
he has many other names on here since hes banned as amimaxima, beware of 00RICK,00DCTEG and a few others i may not know about, MODS SHOULD ban his IP from this site PERMANENTLY
BTW if youre reading this, i gave you options to give me my money back and yet you wanted to flake out on me, if i ever find out your location, please BELIEVE you will see me unless you decide now that you want to be a nice little guy and hand the money over and take your blown shit somewhere else where you can scam some one that doesnt live only an hour away from you.

got the turbo back today from south east power and the report said as FOLLOWS:
-upon teardown and inspection, technician noted severe scoring at the turbine shaft journals,bearing housing journals, thrust bearing structure, seal plate inboard thrust area, and damage to compressor wheel contour, turbine wheel contour and corresponding housings.
-Unit is DAMAGED BEYOND REASONABLE SALVAGE

Bummer man, hope you get something worked out. Shall we just call getting scammed or something getting dono'ed lol I went to school with joe dono, that was the biggest fag ever and everyone laughed at his POS auto celica.
