Hi!
I am new to the honda scene.
I recently bought a 98 ek hatch cx. 5speed.

Ok when i test drove the car. the car drove great with
new problems. But when i drove it back to my house..
the car started acting up. The weird thing is...It starts
up and drives great from cold start. Its when the car warms up
and has been driven for awhile.

For instants..today i got home from a friends house..kinda pumped the gas a little...and you can hear the filter suck in. and it did not rev like a car
would normally rev. Its when the car idles and then you try to take
off..it boggles and wants to shutoff and then it finally does shutoff
and im stuck in traffic...pushing this sucker.

Then when i try to crank it...it does not want to start.
I alternator is new and i just bought a brand new battery.

Is the engine light on? It sounds like dizzy problems. Call me and ill get it running right. My number is bellow

 

maybe bad fuel pump??

 

Sounds like a dead missfire witch would be caused by the ignition, either the dizzy ,cap, plugs, wires or roter lmk if u need a hand.
