well i want my civic EX to hold steady at 9000rpm with out
the block blowing up.....anybody know what is needed this is
just a Idea Iv been playing with and would like to do it but Im
not gonna lie I dont know what I need for it to hold to gether
I know you guys are the shizt and have the right info for me

There is no reason to rev that high if you dont have cams that make the power there.

This sounds like you have no idea what you want from your motor other than noise at 9K RPM... Who cares what you rev up to? If youre beating who you wanna beat it doesnt matter if you only rev to 5K RPM...

What are you trying to achieve with raising the redline only?

you guys are great!! but the reason I am asking this is I will
be picking up a 63 honda S600 convt. in the next year and
with the 12000rpm limet it got my gears turning so I just had
to know and who beter to ask than the H/A tech.gods but this
is something that I would be intersted in doing and you guys
have given me a great start for my reserch agean thank you
so much you guys rock!!
and as far as the S600 i saw one and did the reaserch and I
just have to get one besides a small car like that will scare
the shit out of any one riding next to me hehehe but Im going
to do a complet restor and bring it up to speed with the
advansments made over the years

i have found only a hand full scatered throug out the US
most of them start around $7k and thats for one that needs
a complet rebuild from chasie up but I was planing on doing
that anyway full powder coat!! I was also looking at a weber
carb set up and posibly a turbo and just bring it up to the
new milleniem but still leave the nistalga there so when I do
get one I will drop you a line I have found 12 on this coast
