Default d16 help please

I've got the d16z6 in my 94 civic. When I did the auto to manual swap, the tranny I bought came from a 96 civic... well now I need a new speed sensor. Is it going to matter which year I get? Will a speed sensor from ANY manual d-series work?

I swapped the tranny a year ago, and that sensor had actually melted into the old transmission. I'm going to end up picking up a new one and just doing it right. If I even keep the damn car. lol. Thanks guys!

Well not EVERY one will work. The cable d's were cable driven, not electrical. As long as its 92+ your food to go.
