Need Help With 97 Cx Hatch Exhaust!!
ok guys, i recently put a header on my 97 cx hatch and did away with the exhaust manifold and catylic converter, which for those who know were both directly connected unlike the ex models, now i have both o2 sensors in the header, and no cat. the car runs fine but sounds shitty at mid range (has an axle back exhaust). can someone tell me the best way to go about completing my aftermarket exhaust set up to get the most out of a d16y8, and have it run good and proper, but sound nice too? plz bump if you view and pm me if you can as it would help me faster. thanks
go buy a cherry bomb glass pack and weld it in to the exhaust. should help make it a deeper less raspy sound.

thanks for the info guys, keep it coming! if i bought a complete cat back will it go straight from my header? are they made to need a stock cat, or aftermarket test pipe? just wondering, been something i really wanna get finished
well since your cat was in the header, they will go right up to your header. assuming you buy the one for the correct trim level (cx).
