Just wonderin.. Ive got a friend who says that their car is runnin rich.. aparently it has problems starting cuz the plugs get flooded and when your drivin it if you go to stop you have to give it gas otherwise it will stall out. Its got a new head gasket, timing belt, valve cover gasket, and 02 sensor. What would be causing this to happen? Any help will get rep'd. Thank in advance

Is it throwing a CEL?

 

no no cels. troubleshooted the map sensor today and nothin wrong with it.

 

you might need a tune man what have you got done to your motor

 

injector stuck open.

 

my friend is having the same problem. except his is something with the idle. like it wont idle unless you have your foot slightly on the gas. he happens to have the same motor.

 

id probably have to agree with GSXR. especially if it only seems to happen at idle.

 

could be injector. Check comp. are you sure its running rich and not burning oil? Call and I can take a look at it if you would like. Number in sig
