For the ones who know about the cx model, it comes optional with a/c if you want it or not, just so happens my model didnt come with a/c from the factory sooo.... on the actual climate control there is no "A/C" button.

If i wanted to fully install a/c on my hatch would i have to change the climate control? or will it work as is?

 

Yes, or you could wire up a switch and put it there. If that is all you're missinng

 

Never seen one with no a/c button. Even my old CX had the button

idk i can take a pic if you want for proof there is no a/c button lol its just blank.

 

That is just a switch for the compressor/or fan. You could easily find where it goes on a wiring diagram. If you dont have a manual I'm sure you could google it.
You can buy a switch at autozone/advanced for 2 dollars. I'm sure you have wire laying around somewhere. Wire the one wire for the comp/or fan and ground the other one. and voilaaa
