Can anyone recommend a good and honest shop in the Port Richey/New Port Richey area that specializes in transmission rebuilding/troubleshooting? My fiance's transmission is on its way out and I prefer to not get raped by the stealership. Thanks in advance

Try draining the fluid and refill with honda tranny fluid!!!

 

Fluid was changed about 6 months ago, but I am not sure if her Pops used Honda fluid. Seems to get stuck when going from Reverse to drive. As soon as you start the car, it is whining like a supercharger. Just about to hit 100k miles on the vehicle. 90k service has not been done.

 

Dam... prolly used the wrong fluid...

it wouldnt hurt to try draining it and re filling it with honda auto tranny fluid..

odd for the tranny to crap out with less then 100k on it....

also check to see if there is even fluid in it... maybe the pump is going bad..

 

sounds like a bad pump.
