Is anyone here running an all motor setup using only honda parts (except maybe bolt-ons)?? Greg? Bry? Im curious how far people have taken honda motors with just honda parts...

J/K Yes were all motor all Honda parts except a couple bolt ons... header exhaust and cam gears. Honda = reliable quality.

i believe a couple people on this board have hit low 13s with all honda parts and ive heard about one car that runs a 12.9 all motor with all honda parts.... ls/vtec with type r head plus some good ol TUNING TUNING TUNING!! and then after that... guess what... TUNING TUNING TUNING!! Im sure with a fully build h22 you could see some 11s in a light enough car....

I to try using only Honda parts dont trust to many other brands when it comes to internals.

Hey I like that signature. I run a 00 Si w/ CTR partsITR except for the mugen parts....i also have a friend that runs 12.8 crvtec/itr head jdm itr parts no interior and yes.....tuning tuning tuning it is possible. I have a friend with an lude-s in an 93 accord he runs 12.5 it is very possible. Honda makes the best honda parts there is no questio of that they spend the most on r&d. They are reliable but if you want true power you will need help(just as I have) from companies like Jun/toda mugen crower etc it just depends on how far you take it.........and yes only babies drink from bottles.........

I used to be a all honda all motor parts guy. Recently I have been influenced by endyn though. Just got done doing my roomates car using the endyn/eagle rod and this thing sounds mean. I also like the Jun2 intake cam more than the ITR intake. but other than these 3 items its pretty much all honda parts still. I think 200 is right around the highest I have seen with all honda parts locally. A b-series of course.
