Default mini me swap help

i have a d16y7 motor what i need to know is can i put the sohc vtec head on my motor and go.already have the vtec harness and intake manfold.just need head right.

Need an ECU and oil feed for the vtec head.

No you dont, but you do need to pull the oil jet that is in the top of the deck before you put the head on.

^ yes as frodogt said there is a small oil jet that is blocked on your stock block that you can put a screw into and pop out to convert to vtec, then bolt up with the same head bolts and use the z6 timing belt, and you could either wire in vtec or get a new engine harness, and yes also you need a vtec ecu: p28.... any other questions just let me know i did one of these just recently
this is the oil jet you need to remove to converto to vtec!
