civic turbo issue grr
b18c1 short block b16a head and intake
t3t4 to4e turbo
stock obd2 injectors with aem fuel rail and adjustable reg. and a FMU
ok what is going on is, the min i start to read boost it goes retarded, it cracks up
i put 10 check valves befor the map sensor, do anyone think i should add more maybe? or does anyone think it maybe a diffrent problem?
if i need more info lmk and i will give you the info you need

check spark plugs, do you have aftermarket ignition?
What wastegate are you using is it tight?
Are you saying when you boost it's not smooth and sometimes breaks up?
Are you running rich enough? Maybe you're lean.

I had that problem on an old EG I boosted a long time ago. Pretty much the same set-up. FMU, Adj Reg, all that. It turned out to be a bad spark plug wire.

+1 again on the bad spark plug or wires. seriously, check them, i freaked out for like 2 hours and then pushed in the wires, one was loose!! lol.

Ditch the FMU, get some engine management and injectors. Then get a tune. Unless you have a mechanical issue all your problems will be solved.

my problem is im not still not getting the right amount of fuel.... im not made of money so i can trow away the fmu for some other type of fuel solution.
im going to hook up the rest of my vafc2 controller and bump the fuel on that but i cant find the pin out on the ecu to hook up the white and yellow wires(airflow and pressure signal) anyone know which one that hooks up tooo for my 94 ex civic...
i looked on apexi site and that dosnt show me what im looking for or maybe im just over looing it?!
