Nitrous D
I know the timing aspects but it wont matter when I get a dual map tune...the computer will take car of everything when it sees the nitrous spraying.
As for the rods, yea I don't think stock will cut it then. For me to have bolt ons and spray a 100 shot those rods will probably give. Can I have any input from people who have shot peened LS rods as in what power can they safely handle? I am guessing the D will see around 250 whp on spray but I don't really want to invest in eagle rods or anything because if I go that route I may as well turbo the car. I miss the nitroused LS I had so I am looking to get that fun back...don't care for turbos

So I assume the setup I am thinking about is a good one because nobody has said any differently. How much horsepower and torque would it take to reach 12's in a 1800lb crx?
Also, am I wasting my time with this d-series thinking and should I just do another b-series? I just think that dollar for dollar the setup I listed with the nitrous would be quicker than say a LS with the same bolt ons (no internal work) and a 75 shot.

Ive sprayed a few single slams with a 75shot never had any issues..Id say a 100 shot would be fine for a little while.Just remember too upgrade the clutch sohc clutchs are small and hold no power.

Well, not to sound stupid but I have used many XTD (ebay) clutches on my light builds (probably used like 5 of them so far)...everything from a fully built all motor d16a6...to a d16a6 with 50 shot, LS with bolt ons, 2 b20's with bolt ons, and an LS with 85 shot and all of the times the clutches held up great. I was thinking about buying the highest end one they sell...i think its 4 puck or 6 puck...it should get the job done fine.
