f23 h2b tranny questions??????????????

Default f23 h2b tranny questions??????????????

i just bought a 01 accord ex vtec and the tranny has real long gears. it there is conversion that i can do maby from another year that would have shorter gears. I have seen the h2b conversion kits but i was not looking to realy spend that much. Any suggestions???

i think the h series tranny bolt right up, i think they are shorter gears not 100% sure hope that helps

yeah, M2B4 or M2A4, with an M2A4 you can put in a diff and a 4.64 FD and the F 5th with some machine work and roll out, for the price of the h2b kit you'd already have the FD and be halfway to the mfactory diff, its aobut $150 for the parts brand new for the f 5th plus a bit of machine work, so for under 2 grand you can have a kickass tranny

or for a few hundred dollars throw a stock M2A4 in and roll out
