I live in St. pete on mlk jr. st n. Car is a 2000 Honda civic EX 2dr.

My a/c/heater unit will not work. It used to come on every once in a while so i know the mechanical parts (fan, motor, condensor) all work, but the actual unit itself will not turn on. it is something electrical.. and i don't know if its the wire harness or the a/c piece the harness plugs into. or something else. anyone have any idea?, I can come to you if needed. I just want to find out what i need b/c i have no a/c, heat or defrost.. so its a big pain in the ass right now.
I can take apart bezel in advance.

can you hear the doors move when you swith modes? so your blower motor isnt working? check if the plug is on tight, check fuses then check control

 

the whole thing is off.. won't turn on at all.. i have no power. but sometimes it works and everything works flawlessly. but now hasn't worked in a while (about 2 months now)

 

also cig lighter doesn't work.. i think it is the wire harness is bad but want to be sure.. can anyone help?
