Hey I was just wondering is there anything special that has to be done before removing your intake mani? I.E. removing the 15a fuel fuse or letting the car sit ect ect. Ive never had to do this before but I wanna make sure I dont do something wrong when I take it off.. thanks in advance

 

Drain your coolant system.
Disconnect your battery terminals so you don't have live power to the harness etc...

 

thanks.. figured I would take out the battery for a little better access.. but the cooling system I didnt even think of.. I gotta do that anyways so yeah =]

 

make sure its not that hot or ull get sprayed with coolant when u pop the cap and the manifold will be real hot.

 

lol I know about that.. its gonna happen first thing in the morning cuz i got stuff I gotta do at like 2 tomorrow.. so yeah

 

i open the gas cap to let some pressure out before the loosen any fuel lines
