Diffrence between buddy club spec 3's and itr cams

1. Engine cold
2. Be sure valves are closed
3. Just contact, so you can feel it drag when you pull the feeler out

+1 to what nick says! ^^ the colder the motor the better. LIGHT DRAG! and if you want to be real thorough adjust them in the firing order. 1,3,4,2. a bent feeler would be best to use but flat ones will work.

thats exactly what i do..i rotate crank #1 tdc then #3 then #4 then #2 with a light drag

im stumped...maybe vavletrain is alil louder due to the size of the primaries..im going to readjust tommorw and see how it sounds

no not really just at idle.. when im on the throttle it sounds fine to me...nothing unusal

id say youre fine if you set the lash correctly the first time. if youve been beating on it then it may not hurt to do it again for good measure.

The extra valve clearance is why it is more audible. There are a couple of extra thousandths of gap in there. It's nothing to worry about.
