my girlfriend took her car to a mechanic to get a tire replaced. after she got it back it had some new weird issues. first it started with this; when she would unlock the car with the fob the car would unlock but as soon as she sat in the seat the horn would beep 3 times, then that just stopped doing that. but now the maint. required light flashes 3 or 4 times when the car starts up. also last week it died twice when she was backing out of a parking spot, when i get there it started up and ran but i did notice a bit of steem(or thin smoke) coming out of the tail pipes.
its a 2000 with less than 80k on it, she got it off an old lady 8 months ago and never had a problem till she took it to her mechanic, also she said she always had more problems with other cars she took since she was 16. so the mechanic seems to be creating new work for himself, fucker!
im VW guy so i just blame this kinda stuff on shotty electrical, but this is a honda they never get problems!

useally when the maint light flashes its miss firing....

does the car run funny???

i would def take the car to Honda... and have them check it out.

And stop fucking around with a shady ass mechanic....

make sure the spark plug wires are on right..

also get the car scanned with a obd2 reader to see what is going on with the Ecu...
