for ls/vtec you need.

Ofcourse, an ls block,(b18a1 or b18b1)
dohc vtec head, (b16,gsr,type r,)
Vtec water pump
Vtec oil pump
Vtec dizzy
Sandwhich plate
you need to tap the block
different timing belt
different head gasket.

im sure im missing some things

Why do you need to tap the block? And you don't need a sandwhich plate

^ maybe he means plug the head. and you dont need a vtec oil pump or water pump,Ls are fine....but i would go with a nice ls motor also you will be happier with it then a Y8

The B18A1 or B18B1 (Ls motors) would be a greater choice for your Eg since the Eg is so lightweight and those motors are meant for heavier Integra's so you'll be ahead of the game and they are not to expensive.
