putting a gsr intake mani. on a d16
yea u would probably have to redrill the manifold to bolt up, and THEN figure out the water line and sensor issues. possible yes, smart? no. y would u want to use that intake mani on a d series?
i have heard of this on an all motor fully built non vtec b series, only becuase the butterflys in the manifold act like a mini vtec for large non vtec cams.

+2 on why you would even think of that in the first place. I mean i see where your coming from thinking it will make your car faster because of the extra flow of bigger ports of air but it still isn't work the sacrifice. My idea is if you want a higher flowing intake manifold go aftermarket.
Spoon does not make an intake manifold for your dseries.
Adding an intake manifold to your motor is not going to make a huge night & day difference. You should concentrate your efforts on compression & cam first. There after you should consider airflow.
