is ls-vtec worth it
+1 on the research. i always say vtec is better than none at all, but honestly it depends on your goals and how far youre willing to take the build.

I agree with the other guys research how a ls vtec works. Weigh out the pro and cons on a N/A ls vtec, weigh the pro and cons on a turbo car, then weigh the pro and cons on a ls vtec turbo car. IMO I think if the build is done correctly and you keep up on the maintenance of your car it should be fine.
A boosted LS/vtak will make more HP but about the same tourqe as a boosted LS. The LS/vtak will cost more than the LS because of the Vtak head, the external vtak oil line, and the vtak ECU. You could always just add a vtak head to a boosted LS and gain some HP since, the exhaust manifolds are the same. If money is not a problem then go ahead and do the boosted LS/vtak. If you want to conserve money then just boost a LS. Either way if you don't cut corners and rig shit, i.e. oil lines, tune, etc, they will both be quite reliable.
lol she runs like a champ and love boost and well so do i man i still cant wait to meet the crew when im home for new years the teggy will be there hopefully i be a part of S1
