Great work man!!! I love the front splitter, what is it made of? And also, why such a skinny exhaust?

He's probably trying to save some torque rather than gain horsepower high up in the rpm range. If you think about it, the little torque helps out on the turns.

Yes lol but no. at the time i had no money and 10 feet of 2 inch piping, but the car is so quick with it that i'm not changing it till i do more mods, it pulls very nice all the way to red line.

The spliter is made of alumalite, strong and light.

which school were you with? I did the PCA school and Sandy had a WRX. He drove the hell out of my EF hatch though ... me ... yea I have a lot to learn. Which is fine by me. I loved turns 3 - 5.

I want to take my EG hatch out there and it would be nice to have an instructor who also has one.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

i don't know if you have planned on joining the SCCA or not but if you haven't you should consider it. i have attended their meetings for the Tampa area and it is a great bunch of guys who are really racing on a tight budget. Some guys have been open wheel racing for many years and just now got the car to finish a whole race.

i find that it helped me to hear stories like that.

good luck out there and have a blast.
