I know a lot of the speed sensors are interchangeable as in I have an h22 vss in my 1990 EF hatch that still has the cable speedo. I did this by bolting on my cable top to my old broken vss to the new h22 vss that had a electronic top on it. Basically you need to know what vss you are getting to put into your car and you can probably unbolt the top of your old vss and put in on the top of the new vss so its a plug and play deal.

just get a whole new unit from the gear up to the plug. 92-00 civic 94-01 integra or any accord/prelude one that has a plug ontop.

its the plug that connects to the speed sensor. the same thing happened to me, your best bet is to find the same plug at a junk yard and splice it in.
