Ecu Questions

Default Ecu Questions

OK what I am running is a b18 block with a b20 head my dizzy is 0bd0 I have 2 ecus that I got for the car.

One is what looks to be a STOCK ecu is says pr4 on it
The other one says pr3-j00

the pr3-j00 aint that for vtec? I'm a little confused about all this, can some one give me a little more info?

The pr4 is a non-vtec ecu which is the ecu that you would want to run for your setup.

how do you know you get more power with the pr3...and I highly doubt that you do unless it has been chipped for your setup exactly. The pr4 is the one you want to use. I have one in my b20 setup and it runs great.

its is chipped it has a raw power tune chip in it and when I hook up the other one I can feel the difference when I get on it

wrong basemap for your motor... pr4 ls ecu is what u need to run
