burning smell when downshifting

i dont drive it hard, and its only smoked once and it was outta the tail pipe. i dont normally down shift but when i started smelling it when slowing down i did it to see if the thats what the smell was and thats when it smoked.

maybe u burnin ya clutch, but if ur smokin then i dont think it is

its not the clutch because it does it when only a lil bit of torque is put on the clutch, like when i just take my foot off the gas while driving. no smoke then, but still smell.
