ummm let me think......um the motor wont run without any internals. Youre being pretty vague with what your plans are but if you want to fully rebuild the motor then it wouldnt matter if it had internals or not however if you dont plan on rebuilding it fully then dont buy the empty block. Whenever you put in a crank in a block that didnt originally come in the block you need to measure the specs/clearance of the camshafts and how tight it is in its new blocks you need to do this with plastiguage or an electronic mic either way its a pain in the ass. No offense but if you really have to ask this question I would not buy the empty block.
