surprisingly the turbo is not that bad. Ive heard both postive and negative feedback on the kits off there. It just depends, what your pushing boost wise, what you have done to the car and all that other ish. the right tune, can make or break you. I personally dont care if its ebay or not it still does the trick.

Well i myself haven't had one or know anyone who has one but the truth with these kits from what i've heard is that you get what you pay for and what usually goes first is the turbo manifold because of the weak welds.IMHO you'd save more money and headaches in the longrun if you buy quality turbo parts especially the actual turbo charger itself because that is something you can't skimp on as badly as say a bov. Although you may have to piece together your parts piece by piece or paycheck by paycheck but in the end you'll have a reliable, powerful, fun system that was worth the time, labor and money you invested but then again it does depend on how you've built your motor and what psi, tuning, assembly so alot of things go into play..but good luck with whatever route you decide to go into.

I agree with you in some parts. The turbo manifold is a deffinite replace. They crack at the welds, even with the 6 "supports" they weld on. The BOV and Wastegate surprisingly hold to a decent amount of beatings. My brother had all ebay products until he took it down for his new build. He was running 14 lbs, tuned by MRI, and it ran almost flawlessly. The turbo can hold that much, but you will need a turbo timer because you will go through that turbo fast if you beat on it all the time.

EDIT: if you plan on going turbo, and need a tune, PM me. I will refer you to a good friend of mine, who happens to be a badass tuner.

haha true, well let me just say, this will go faster then more expensive products? lol, basically what he said, you get what you paid for it. Sometimes its not what you know, its who you know. you could stumble upon turbo parts way better then ebay, but cheaper. Before you hop on an ebay kit, i would advise searching every crevice on TR, and i bet you before long you will find exactly what your looking for. If i was you id piece it together with the parts you want, and just buy the piping for your car off ebay.

Hey, all you have to do is maintainance, and you can beat the living crap out of anything. Thats what I used to do to my GSR hatchback Never had any issues when I owned it, and same with the owner that has it now.

It's all about Tuning, Assembly, and Maintenance.
