you can see through it. it might have the rubber boot over it, depending on if someone has taken it out before or not. theres also a clip over it that you gotta pull/pry off. use a bolt to hammer it out, but not a honda bolt none of them are the right size, i used a bolt from an aftermarket battery terminal.

you dont have to remove it, it just makes it easier. and if you do leave it attatched, make sure the shifter is pointing the right way when you put it back in. it can get turned around and then youll either have to pull the trans again or fight the bitch pin.

i hate driving my pos ford everyday.

i just really hate fords! only 12mpg

the bitch pin is very easy to remove if you just go buy a 8mm punch...comes right out with a few small hits from the hammer. The bitch part is putting a new one back in.

what one should i buy? an should i buy the one for the D15B2 or the D16A6?
