01 s2k vtec isnt working. it used to be turbo but after 2nd motor and 3rd turbo it is not turbo anymore. it has a vafc and im still pulling through the intercooler. stock manifold is back on and stock exhaust. vtec was working fine for the last 10,000 miles without the turbo. havent checked solenoid screen or vss but can the vafc have anything to do with it not working? oil press, level, and temp are fine.

and why are you using a intercooler with a n/a car?

 

because i just havent pulled it off yet. no time i work way to much. what about the vafc though? i went and downloaded the manuals for it and it didnt really tell me anything i didnt know already.

 

yes cel but it was there before the vtec stopped. it's on because there is no O2 sensor. 2nrwerks did alot of work to it and he screwed my eyes out the back of my head.

 

if your getting a CEL for O2 sensor your vtec will not work..

You need to start getting rid of those problems. Get rid of the intercooler and loose the vafc.


I'm guessing you have a ap1. What color is your s2k?

 

are you sure the o2 is still the only code? have you checked it since vtec stopped working?
