D17 cpu
anyone know what cpu does the d17 use for the vtec? i know the motor sucks but i have toke the head off and im build the motor with some scrap parts i have in my shop. any info will help me.

I don't think tokin with the head is good. 
What do you mean building the motor with scrap parts? Is there something wrong with the motor, or are you swapping it into a shell? What year/model/trim chassis? or what's wrong with it spun rod/main bearing; blown headgasket/etc.?
