Run SFWD, have a better chance to win and running on street tires just plain sucks.

Also why is everyone scared to run CFT, I always go into a race loving the challange of being able to beat one of the top dogs in the class.

Also CFT is not the only team going that can run mid to low 9's.

Shit if my heavy ass Si can go to the semi finals in Battle against loan , Marc P , and another 11 second all motor EG I think i'll be alright considering I was running 12.6-12.7 lol

 

Was Battle of the Imports bracket or heads up? IFO is mostly heads up but they have a bracket class. I think it is only for bikes if I remember

Street class is usually dominated by AWD and RWD cars.

 

I agree, my car usually runs mid to low 10s on the old setup, everyone thought tha i would bust off some 9s at the IFO in montgomery, but i had a half blown headgasket and qualified with an 11.4@140, shit happens and it happens to all of us. The winner of IFO montgomery in the SFWD class won with a 10.5@142
