My g/fs accord started to have some oil seep through the valve cover gasket area so I am changing the gasket... when I popped the top I noticed that there is a TON of carbon deposits in the area of the valve springs and empty spaces... (she has 130K miles on it)
1. Is it even good for me to try and clean that crap out?
2. Whats the best way to remove the deposits safely (cleaners? etc...)

Actually I decided to do my own research and I found what I assumed anyways... 
NO CLEANERS on the inside since any cleaners would simply break down the oil that is needed no matter how much you put in... So I picked up some good ass oil cleaner for the next oil change on the car...
as far as the valve cover... just using some good ol engine degreaser and then gonna wash it good then pop it back on...
